I would give them zero stars if I possibly could. I was transferred from Austin Hospital to this crappy facility. The food was horrible, Group Therapy. I wasn’t there for a drug overdose or alcohol overdose. I was there for grief. There was no individualized treatment plan for me and then I have an over $6000 bill that I keep kept telling them I couldn’t afford to stay there. So what did they do? I would not leave one of my loved ones here. While I was here and asked for juice I was told it was being saved for the diabetic patients. Before checking in I was told they provided everything so no money was needed. Treated better in Williamson County jail! The staff seems to all dislike their jobs and would be better off elsewhere. Not one of the so called counselors seemed to have real world experience. One of the patients had episodes of frustration and they simply drugged her up and placed in room. This is not a good place to send your loved ones. It's not a good place to heal. A small fraction of the staff actually treats you as if you are human, the rest have sharp tongues and no patience. They aren't kind nor are they empathetic. These people are struggling enough, the last thing they need is to be treated like garbage by the techs, front desk people, the Doctors and even some of the nurses. What a terrifying and immoral medical facility. They are understaffed with low-quality health professionals including the patient advocate, therapists, nurses, psychiatrists, medical doctors and front desk staff. We were completely misled in terms of what to expect- told at the outset we would get information on our family member's care, they would review her medical and psychiatric history and eventually collaborate with family on a plan to take her home.
