It should be against the law to visit Galilee and not go dine at George's.

Business response:

Well, shucks! thanks, Fred!

Very poor experience on Father's Day yesterday. I emailed the restaurant as to not leave such a negative review on social media as this has not been our experience in the past. I hope this isn't a trend here.

Business response:

I'm so sorry to hear this. Please message us on here so that we can get some more details

We had an unexpectedly bad experience yesterday. We went to George's for Father's day. My wife and step daughter ordered broiled scallops. The scallops were undercooked. They returned the scallops. The manager on duty came over to our table. He explained several times that "that was the way they are cooked" and that future orders would be prepared in the same manner. My stepdaughter ordered and received properly prepared pan seared scallops. My wife and I have worked in the restaurant business long enough to know that that i... read more

Business response:

Our scallops are day boat scallops in are of sushi-grade quality I eat them raw there's nothing wrong with a raw scallop although if you wanted your scallops done a little more that was our bad. On your next visit just let us know and we'll make sure we pan sear them a little longer for you

Calamari appetizer was half breaded and borderline soggy. The fish and chips were greasy and fries were soggy. Service was terrible because of long waits between courses. Dessert was best part of meal, we both had the beignets. Wouldn't waste the time driving from Preston to eat there for a special occasion.

I cant stand noisy atmospheres in some places, but Georges has a relaxing atmosphere just soft, pleasant music downstairs with a nice ocean breeze. I thought for a minute that i was in the islands!! And the seafood is fresh and healthy, good for you! Food is AWESOME and a lot of dishes to choose from.

Business response:

Thank you, Erin!

This was the first time I've been there and I got the George's lobster that had stuffing with whole scallops and shrimp and then lobster bisque was spooned over the top of that. Delicious! Because it was grilled, no water poured out when you broke off the claws. My hands have been bothering me so my waitress was kind enough to crack the claws & knucles for me :-) I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Business response:

Thanks so much!
