The white chowder is awful watery and like milk. Chowder should be thick. Claim cakes were excellent huge and lots of clams in it worth it.
Was there the first nice day of Summer. Could not wait to have fried clams......they were the absolute worst. They looked like round balls with a tail, when bit into one it was cold. Growing up close to the shore one is used to great seafood. This was horrible when stating that to the young waitress, she walked away! Never again!

Visited 7/5/17. Have been coming to George's for years. Never had a bad meal or service. But something was off yesterday. Service was slow and unfocused. My husband and a guest ordered the same Cod dish. It was not served as described. It was rectified after the waitress told both of them "you ordered it wrong"! - really? My salad was served to me after my meal was served. I guess we'll be rethinking a return visit for awhile.
