Thank you to Ben Stein and George's for getting me back on the bike! Knee injuries forced me to put the bike up but after a fit with Ben, I'm back on the road to getting better. Ben you are awesome and can't believe how much time you spent with me and how committed you were to the smallest details. Great teacher and fitter.
The mechanics utilized a semi-permanent adhesive to attach my handlebar grips to the handlebars WITHOUT calling me and asking me if that is something I wanted to be done. The grips are shaped meaning now I will have to buy a chemical to strip the adhesive and until then ride my bike (my main mode of transportation) with uncomfortable wrist placement. It may not seem like much but when your wrists are not well placed everyday, twice a day or more, for each ride you take, it adds up. I do care about some of the mechanics there... read more
George's Cycles downtown Boise: you have failed to provide ANY customer service the past 3 times we have visited the new location. We are done being ignored every time we try and spend our money in your store. There are many other bike shops in the Treasure Valley, not to mention Amazon.
As a newcomer to Boise, I was nervous about finding the perfect bike that would be good for commuting to school and traveling around town with my friends. The general manager, Frank, provided exceptional customer service. He truly went above and beyond to personalize my experience and make sure I found a hybrid that I loved.

Sent my son down to George's just to get parts for his brake cable that I intended on installing myself. Not only did they have the parts but they assembled it and installed it while he was there! Superb and excellent customer service for my youngster! Thanks!

Customer service... what is that? Apparently the staff doesn't know either. Came in to take a look at the 2016 Rockhopper since I am in the market for a new Mtn Bike. Browsed around for about 15 minutes, noone acknowledged my existence. 1st and last time to this place. Will spend my $$ elsewhere with someone who wants to earn it.
