Amazing food and views as usual but I wish they would have spotted it was my birthday as mentioned when booking... anyway ! I love that place !!!
We went there for lunch and the view was amazing-It's unbeatable. We love the food- Excellent service! We will definitely be back!
I was visiting San Diego with a group of colleagues and decided to dine here. The food was great and the view from the rooftop patio was equally amazing. The service was just ok. Our waitress was pleasant but the pleasantries felt insincere. There was a 3% surcharge for employee benefits which seemed odd. Overall the food quality and the view of the Pacific made for a great dining experience.
This was a recommended location for a great dinner but one that would pay attention to our time limits. Our 5:30 time was early but it was a pre-theater requirement and we had to be out by 7:15 to make to curtain time. The wait staff were excellent. Not pushy, but lightly reminded us that we had set the time limits. They were very attentive and watched the time as much as we did. The view from CA Modern is ok. Outstanding! We loved the view, the food and the service. Excellent cocktails 🍹 and good parking.
I went for happy hour. Food is ok, service was ok, beer selection is limited. Can't beat the view though! Corn dogs were my fav. I would go back for the corn dogs and the view.
