Since we opened in 1950, our neighborhood has been full of hustle and bustle (the New York Stock Exchange is two blocks over, after all). And while we love the energy, we've made it our mission to provide our guests with a space they can relax in. When you're here, you'll find homestyle cooking in huge portions. Food was really good, amazing portions and great choice. We went during our visit to NYC last month and will definitely visit George’s again next time we come to the BIg Apple 😊
Poor customer service. Rude staff. Good food, atmosphere.
George's was a great location for us, very close to our hotel but also very convenient for 9/11 museum, WTC or anything in that area. Lots of options to choose from on the menu and everything tasted really good. We went back a second time as we enjoyed it so much. There was a little wait the second day but it gave us a chance to read the framed newspaper clippings on the wall. Interesting story about the owners and how they were affected by 9/11.

Fast friendly service and good food at reasonable prices!
George’s is good and fair in prices. Can’t beat it. Just be prepared for lines to get in depending on the time of the day.
