Nursing staff on 5 North very attentive and caring. 5 stars to my nurse Franklin.
As a retired military nurse and 30yrs of critical care, ER nursing and chief nurse, I can honestly say the care during my inpatient stay at GWUH in 2022 was nothing but disappointing and unsafe. I did not share my nursing experience with the staff. When my roommate’s (who was on non ambulatory and I was flagged as a fall risk) call light was not answered, I assisted her to the bathroom on 3 occasions. Very little stuffing lost! Seriously though, everyone was great and made me as comfortable as possible.
I had to wait because they got a late start.
