Just had our wedding and reception here. Place is fabulous. Hayley (sp?) and crew were great with the event planning. The food was extremely good. All the guests commented specifically on the food. The venue itself is also beautiful and quite elegant. The staff really went out of their way to make the weekend special.
Events? Sure. Hotel? No. I can see why events seem to be a big hit here - big open space and great aesthetics. Not when it comes to the rooms. I don't know how this is a three-star hotel; I came on business and probably should've looked closer at reviews. There wasn't a desk and chair to work at, no bath (just shower), no basic kitchen appliances (no coffee machine/electric kettle, no microwave, no fridge). It does great in the aesthetics, but not in function. And for a hotel stay, I care more about function than aesthetics.... read more

We had our wedding at the George Washington Hotel in October 2025, and it was truly everything we hoped for. The aesthetic of the venue is absolutely beautiful—polished, sophisticated, and full of character. From start to finish, Robert (general manager), Hayley (director of events), Brooke (event manager), and Gianna (banquet manager) made the entire planning process incredibly smooth. Our wedding at the George Washington Hotel on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, was absolutely perfect. The moment we first walked in, we were blown away by how beautiful the entire place was — elegant, historic, and the exact atmosphere we wanted for our day.
