Dr. George is truly frightening with his lack of knowledge in following appropriate protocol. Chronically over books appts and is often extremely late ( over an hour is not uncommon) Last but not least, he will NOT listen to what your telling him, instead asks the same questions at every appt. appears to speak English good enough, but is lacking in the comprehension dept. do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!
Dr. George performed a simple bladder catheter on my dad the last week in December 2016. Dr. George nicked a vein in my dad's bladder. It wasn't noticed until the next day. A second emergency surgery was scheduled to find the bleed. It was, of course, the nicked vein. My dad was unresponsive after that surgery until the following day's afternoon. Everything went downhill. My dad died January 1, 2017. He had massive amounts of fluid from the IV accumulation. He died of congestive heart failure.
Dr. George is my 3rd urologist and the one who went through the trouble to correctly diagnosis my problem. Treatment was quick and easy and great follow-up. He's sending me to a surgeon and he made the calls himself while I was in the room with him. The Rochester staff is friendly and efficient.
Not a very personal doctor at all. I had to introduce myself when He walked in the examination room because he had his head stuck on his laptop. Unfortunately I had to switch doctors due to new insurance. He never once asked how I was, just kept reading my chart and telling me things I already knew. Then, he wanted to perform a lithotripsy/ surgery on me....nah, don't think so.
Excellent, wait time and visit were a total of 40 min. Dr. George was specific with diagnosis and explanation. Would recommend highly
