I had a great experience with George Stone Crab. The stone crab claws arrived fresh, well-packaged, and tasted amazing.
I was a new customer and sent a discount coupon. This was during the time when there was free shipping on all orders. The system applied my new customer discount and I had to pay for the shipping which was outrageous. 2 calls to this company kept repeating I could only use one discount but was nothing on their emails that said that. Order received on selected date and I served them that same evening. The meat was dry and my family was disappointed. I will never order from them again.
WERE GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD BUT DELIVERED A DATE LATE. DID NOT ARRIVE SCHEDULED DAY
How very dissapointing. I opened the box and was immediately concerned by the smell. The ice packs and crab claws were not fully frozen. We cracked open a couple of the claws to try them thinking maybe it was just a strong seafood smell. The meat was soggy and brittle and it was chewy like can happen to frozen seafood. We couldn’t eat it Note that we previously had a 5 star quality experience with this company so I was very surprised. The caviar (sealed container) was excellent.
