Dr. Thurber charges 32.00 for writing a prescription for glasses. What is the point of going to an opthalmogist if you don't get a prescription if needed. Does not do an exam for contact lens but, he has an associate that will do an exam for contacts for the cost of another exam. It is a rip off. My husband and I walked out. Waste of my time.
I have had two cataract surgeries with Dr. Thurber. The staff are always respectful and kind. I have never been to a more professional medical office. I highly recommend Dr. Thurber.
