I am a 100% disabled veteran, retired Commander after 28 years, and a Registered Nurse. I travel in a camper van with my three dogs. I pulled into the SLC VA parking garage at 10:30 PM after driving all day, planning to rest before my cardiac appointment the next morning. The treatment has been exceptional for me the past couple years and it’s all I use now. Optometry, dermatology, whatever; all good. Parking almost got them four stars though — it gets packed in the morning.
Love the hospital and staff, amazing hospital, but the Community Care Network has gotten even worse under Trump. It takes 1-3 months just to get your authorization sent out by the CCN staff, they'll cancel it without telling you, and gaslight you by saying they reached out and sent a letter but you or the provider didnt answer when you call them to ask why it still hasn't gone through. Its totally unsat. Feels impossible to get into care when you need it most. No wonder our brothers and sisters are killing themselves in VA p... read more
Incompetent. People keep arguing with you and hanging up and very rude service.
After 9 years I'm still having issues with getting medical help. It's always, "let's wait 3 more months". So frustrated. Now it's 12 yrs later. Still struggling with the VA not sending meds
