No, I would not go to him. He and his PA are really rushing patients through and do not want to give any time to the patients. I have worked in surgery myself for 37 years and in orthopedics, so I know what can and cannot be done. I am sorry I wasted my time going to him.
Update. It's been over 5 years since Dr. Quill's second attempt of fusing my ankle. I was hesitant to do a second surgery but the pain was terrible. I decided to go ahead with the surgery because he said "I guarantee you that you will not have pain in your ankle after I fuse this area of your ankle" and I believed him. Each visit after the surgery the pain was getting worse, I looked at him with tears in my eyes and I reminded him that he guaranteed me no pain. Dr Quill is awesome. He listens well, does his homework, offers solutions with pros and cons and his recommendation. He is technically proficient. He works very hard to go above and beyond to help his patients. I hit recommend him.
Took 2 months to get appt but dr quill is astute & friendly. My issue was minor but he still cared enough to listen & make recommendations for treatment.??
He explained everything in detail, from how the tear progressed, the MRI, the surgical procedure, recovery time, and offered suggestions to help speed up my recovery. I never wait in the office, surgery was a breeze, and his staff is excellent.
