I waited for a appointment that was scheduled in hospital, he said he could treat me outpatient, my appointment was today 07/02/25 he said he doesn't treat this, go to the hospital in Orlando or Vero. I waited 2 weeks for absolutely nothing, the majority of the time I am suffering so bad I can't function. I would think about doctor would have some type of integrity, this guy is a public health hazard
I would rate this doctor literally NEGATIVE stars if I could. I was incorrectly diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, I told him I KNEW it wasn’t Crohn’s disease, and it wasn’t ( also wasn’t even offered any treatment for this ) how can you have Crohn’s disease with “no complications” but be presenting with issues severe enough to make a diagnosis? As an individual, I believe Dr. Christophi is a nice man. As a practice, it's not good. My main issue is frustration. I have been fighting severe abdominal pain for 5 to 6 months. Here is why I am frustrated: - There is ZERO movement in resolving my issue. NONE. I have seen Dr. Christophi 4 times in the last 2 months including a post-ER folup for this issue. I saw Dr. Christophi once. The wait time to be seen was a pretty decent chunk. I brought him 4 prior test results over the last 20 years as I've had issues since a child. He didn't even look at what tests I had had done in the past nor the results, nor did he do any type of physical exam. He was nice, but he took all of 2 minutes total to tell me he wanted to start from the bottom up to get a baseline (which is understandable, yet expensive when those tests have already been performed). Dr. Christophi, missed diagnosed my daughter. Christophi, diagnosed my daughter with perianal Crohn's. Second opinion Fissure. He started her on Humira which is an injection every two weeks for the rest of her life. Which would have cost 3k a month. I took my concern to the Mayo Clinic. After testing, she did not even have Crohn's! The nightmare this man caused my daughter and I is unforgiving!
