Had an urgent vehicle service requirement while heading north to home. Breakdown at Nambucca Heads. Karen at Geoff King Motors Service area fitted us in even though they were booked solid for 2 weeks. Fantastic service and communication from all staff. Very professional people to deal with. I put my car in for service & was told when I collected car that it needed new tyres but nothing else wrong with car. Approx 5 - 10 minutes after leaving Geoff King Motors car started losing power, I pulled off road & called service department, they told me to bring car back which I did straight away only to be told again nothing wrong with car. I recently had a diagnosis on my wife's vehicle because of warning lights on dash with Geoff King Motors coffs Harbour. I was told there was wire damage and a broken sensor. They Quoted me over $800 to fix. I thought something was very wrong with that quote so I brought a sensor for $49 new and installed it myself in 20min. There was no wire damage and now the problem is solved with just changing the sensor. So explain to me why was the cost quoted over $800!?
