Love Dr.Patel !! She was Very nice, all the staff at the Downtown Detroit location were nice and Efficient!! I’m 6 months pregnant and I was very nervous about getting my tooth pulled however, everyone helped me and made sure my baby and I were comfortable and safe ! They even said I can come back if the pain was too Much to bare.
I had a several appointments at this location and it's always nice and clean. The assistant (Rozell) came in made sure that I was comfortable in the area. I really don't like needles and when it was time to get my mouth numbed the assistants talked me through it and even held my hand a few times. I don't go to dentist often as I should due to a very bad experience years ago. Yesterday didn't remove any reservations.
Terrible customer service. Appointment was at 10, arrived 10 minutes early. I sat in the back for a hour and a half and no one had come to service me. After I complained no one seemed apologetic or even cared that I had been sitting that long with no one coming back there. The lady at the front desk never even looked up to acknowledge me or anything. I walked out and no one said a word! I will never be back and I will never refer anyone!
I went in very anxious but the entire staff treated me with respect. I was called on time, no controversy over payment (it was exactly what it was supposed to be). Laughing when I left, can't get better than that. If any of these tbings change I'll edit my review.
I only give them a 3 because the staff is nice, and the assistant that retrieved me from the waiting room was apologetic. I sat in the lobby for an hour. My appointment was at 11, I arrived at 10:45, at 12:54 I'm still sitting in the exam room waiting on a cleaning.
Not a fan of the dentist and nothing will change my mind there. But they were as gentle as I'm sure is possible. Not the worst experience of my life.
