Do NOT recommend this hospice Agency to any of your loved ones!!!! The love and compassion is not there with them! The pcp recommended them. (I already knew they were crap) but she was in a panic.. and picked what was thrown in front of her.. I definitely was not impressed. My family member started hospice on a Thursday.. and didn't get supplies for over six days from them!!! Wow... yes, I will tell you how to do your job while I continue to Advocate for MY loved one... This company is great awesome and wonderful with the use the opposite of compassionate care totally clear they just want to get paid for the people they get in their system and then left you on your own and be as rude as possible until the last breath of the patient. If your looking for a compassionate company to care for your loved ones, this is not the place to get that type of service. Since the 1st meeting to today's interaction with this company has been a nightmare. it's absolutely disgusting how your loved one that's dying is treated.
When you have a loved one in hospice care, it's one of the hardest things. From the nurses (especially Debra & Dusty) to the Chaplin, Jerry. We could not have done it on our own and without these hardworking and dedicated individuals. From distressed phone calls at 2 AM to his final day, they were always there to help, especially during our most dire times. My experience was sadly disappointing. I will preface this review with the fact I did not choose this agency. Salem Hospital made the choice for me without telling me. Communication is terrible. It seems most of the staff is part time and they don't seem to talk to each other. I never saw the same person twice. The first I heard of them is when they called to tell me they were picking up my wife from the hospital to take her home.
