First time at Gent today. Comfortable, attractive atmosphere with a good mixture of vintage and modern touches. Reilly did a fantastic job with my cut; very professional and not afraid to ask for clarification. This establishment truly understands customer service!
Great service, but the person who trimmed my hair had no idea what a pompadour was. I came in telling him I exactly what i wanted my back to blend in, and keep my top front length still long. At the end of the cut I was satisfied thinking it was what I wanted got half way to my car and noticed the whole back isnt even blended nicely and the top length isnt even long. I think if he knew what a pompadour, combover, or undercut hairstyle was, this review of mine wouldve been a 5 star. But like I said Great Service, bad barber.
Getting your haircut by Laura Bly at the Grand Ave location is worth every cent...which includes a hot towel and massage shampoo...SHE IS EXCELLENT AT WHAT SHE DOES.
