I absolutely loved my experience at GenPsych in the teen IOP. To say my time here was amazing would be an understatement, especially because the therapists Vicki, Brandon, Priscilla, and Meg were all so kind and made sure our groups were fun. All the staff made sure our time there was enjoyable, and as someone that didn’t originally want to participate or do the work, their actions were appreciated more than they could ever know. Brandon Hickey is a kind, thorough, and hard working therapist. He has helped me more than others. Carla Williams is a great provider who is also patient and thorough. The entire staff at Genpsych have helped me get to the next phase of my life and I am thankful.

I currently have a past due bill (because I was unemployed and had a paid insurance that was bad). It’s pretty large. I understand them contacting me to get it. That’s reasonable - corporate america and all that. I’ve previously set up a payment plan I can afford, and pay when I can. No, they’re going after my EMERGENCY CONTACT to collect the debt. My emergency contact, meant for medical emergencies at a mental health facility, to get payment. I’m so disgusted by this place regarding billing, but honestly the therapy wasn’t ... read more

My husband was discharged from the hospital last week. Had a very stressful time. We were referred by the psychiatrist to Gen psych in Marlboro New Jersey. We left several messages when I finally got through to the admitting person. She was very nasty to me directly, I quote “we are very busy. It’s gonna take a few days to get back to you. We are short staffed. My other line is ringing. You have to leave a message”.
