i went to genpsych at during one of the most challenging moments of my life. it ended up being the best experience i could have had. the facilitators, doctor, the groups; everything was an amazing experience for me. the groups were something i apply to my life up to this very day. vicki is such an amazing therapist and carla was such a warm comforting doctor who both really listened. and rooted for me. the groups even set a tone that brought such a comfort between clients. it felt easy to be vulnerable and heal here. i would... read more
I absolutely loved my experience at GenPsych in the teen IOP. To say my time here was amazing would be an understatement, especially because the therapists Vicki, Brandon, Priscilla, and Meg were all so kind and made sure our groups were fun. All the staff made sure our time there was enjoyable, and as someone that didn’t originally want to participate or do the work, their actions were appreciated more than they could ever know. Brandon Hickey is a kind, thorough, and hard working therapist. He has helped me more than others. Carla Williams is a great provider who is also patient and thorough. The entire staff at Genpsych have helped me get to the next phase of my life and I am thankful.
I would highly recommend Genpsych. My son was able to learn alot about how to handle his anxiety. His therapist Brandon was excellent. My son connected with him right away and I will reach out to him in the future if needed.
I attended this IOP Bridgewater program twice. Once in February 2024 and July 2025; AND both times were incredibly valuable. I truly felt heard and validated, especially when I saw that suggestions I made in 2024 were implemented in the 2025 DBT binder. It showed the team values client feedback and practices interpersonal effectiveness.
