I went a few years ago when I was 13 and now as an adult I can confidently say the youth/adolescent group had absolutely zero structure. Everyone would be saying DING DING whenever someone shared a "cognitive disfunction" which was usually most of the time someone from group going into crisis and talking about how they want to end theirselves. GenPsych saved my life.If it wasn't to the the fantastic staff and therapists at genpsych I would never have found the tools I needed to keep going. In October 2021-December 2021 I was apart of their Adolescent Program. With the help of groups, silvergate, and 1 on 1 individualized therapy and psychiatry, they helped me figure out what I needed and motivated me every day to be the best version of myself. GenPsych has truly changed my life for the better. The therapists and Carla are amazing! Really appreciated their focus on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) practices. Would highly recommend their services. Thank you so much for everything!
This place has changed my life for the better. The tech and therapists always make me feel welcome and at home. I am grateful to have found a program that actually cares. The therapist Priscilla, she was so welcoming and helped me out. She is easy going and very helpful. I would recommend her especially for those who speak spanish or prefer a bilingual therapist.
GenPsych has been a wonderful place. I would recommend you guys to anyone in the world. We are grateful that we found GenPsych. You guys are helping, definitely know how to make the parents know that are not doing this alone.
