Fantastic ambiance for a college campus restaurant. Definitely a great date night spot for a college student not wanting to go to the dining hall.
Well, I'm not one to write reviews but I have to say that I do not recommended Geno's in Southington. The first time we ate there within an hour of eating I had severe diarrhea and abdominal pain. That was in February of 2015. Last night we had a gift card and thought we'd give it another try... So..... After we ate my wife had severe diarrhea, both my children and myself had horrible stomach aches all night. Very nasty tasting food. Combinations of flavors that have no business being together,trying so hard to be for rich people only! Was just disgusting food and even worse atmosphere. I tell everyone I know and will continue to do so,to stay far away from this resteraunt!
Great meatballs!!! Friendly staff, large proportion and good wine!
The wait staff was very pleasant. But the food was the best. Having a son at UCONN for the next four years I will definitely be back again.
