Great Sushi and Atmosphere – Had a birthday dinner with some friends and had a blast! It was reasonably priced and delicious. Teen, our server was knowledgable, super cute, and quick. Thank you Genki!
Sushi Quality is Mediocre at Best, Overpriced – I read the other reviews and am baffled, but upon closer look, I think there are multiple reviews from the same individual. There are so many great sushi places in Atlanta and Genki is not one of them. I had some nigiri that smelled noticably fishy, so the freshness was questionable. Warm and Yummy – I had Soba noodles with vegetables and tofu for lunch. So warm and yummy in the cold weather. I used to eat at Genki all the time when I lived in Buckhead - I had forgotten how awesome the food is there. I could eat for days here. It is back to one of my favorite places for Sushi now that I am in the Buckhead area.
Great neighborhood – This place is in a great location. Lots of really cool boutiques in the area. We stumbled upon Genki after having been shopping for furniture at a store around the corner called Global Living. There were 4 of us inc. 2 vegetarians, and we all enjoyed our meals. We'll be back for their new Monday night Sake and Spins-sounds interesting.
excellent sushi for the whole family – They had a wide range of dishes. Several members of my family love sushi, others like the bowls, and myself I love their tuna salad. The wine selection was amazingly good and the service was excellent. We will be back a lot. Did I mention very affordable.
Great Noodles, Sushi and Excellent Service – My wife, colleague and 2 friends ate at Genki on a cold Sunday evening. Parking was easy in front and included free valet.
