I met Dr. Jason Perelman at an office at 6100 Hollywood Blvd. Suite 105. Hollywood Florida on Jan 30 2025 at 2:45 p.m. The office waiting room had approx 5 other men patients waiting to see Dr. Jason Perelman, urologist. Dr. Perelman assistant took my blood pressure. I was given a referral from Memorial Hospital Pembroke to make an appointment to see Dr. Eric Michael Pachter; MD as soon as possible for a visit. Unfortunately for me EVERYTIME I call this office to schedule the young lady answers the phone with no greeting, doesn't say the name of the Dr. office. She only says "hold on" once she places you on hold, you hear loud music and advertisements. Dr Barzel is a no nonsense doctor , he is a expert in his field . When I wanted a 3 T MRI he got it for me and when it showed my prostrate cancer he sent me back the same morning for a cat scan to make sure it hadn't spread. He knew we came a long way so we didn't have to make another trip. He explained my three options and I chose radiation. He also said I could go for treatment close to where I live. Each time (6) patients call Genesis Care to make an appointment, the message says "you are > 40th in the queue." That does not respect patients' time. Imagine if we were having a problem and needed to get hold of a staff member! Although the doctors are ones we are established with, now that they are with genesis and we are treated this way, we asked our primary ro send a referral elsewhere.
