I hadn’t seen a doctor in years because I hated my previous PCP. Recently, I had a medical emergency which required hospitalization and a new PCP. I chose Heyl Family Practice and was assigned to Dr. Matthew Macken. Dr. Macken is very kind and compassionate. He listens to me and I feel he truly wants me to be well, feel well, and be of good health overall. This Clinic is very efficient. They are always checking in patients on time, the employees are all nice. Matt is very thorough about explaining all the things I need to know about my health. From the history, past bloodwork results and planning to give the best for my health. He is not rushing and always takes time to explain everything in lay man’s terms.

This is one of the best PCPs I have ever been too. Been going here for the past couple of years and I highly recommend them to anyone!
I am sorry to have seen Dr. Louis Heyl for the for the last time, before he moves into his much deserved retirement. He (and his father before him) has well served portions of three generations of our family and will be missed. However, I look forward to coming under the care of his son, Dr. Scott Heyl.
