I recently moved to the area and was looking for a primary care doctor. I found Dr. Macken through my insurance and decided to make an appointment after reading Google reviews. I completed all of the new patient paperwork prior to my appt and there was a minimal wait after checking in. The office staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had such a great experience here. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and the doctor really took the time to listen to me and made me feel genuinely heard. You can tell they truly care about their patients. I’m really glad I found this practice!!
I’ve been going to Heyl Family Practice for years now and have seen most of the physicians. I love this family practice so much so that I won’t change providers even after moving to the south hills. I most recently was seen by Amy. She is wonderful—her kindness, warm energy, and active listening are just an extra compliment to her knowledge as a provider. Highly recommend this practice!
Dr. Macken welcomed me to the family practice. He shared his professional background and listened attentively as we went through my medical history and discussed a plan of care. I felt comfortable and at ease. I look forward to working closely with my new PCP.
Dr. Scott Heyl is in my opinion the best pcp out there. He is thoughtful and caring, spends time with you to discuss any and all concerns. As I don’t require many visits a year, I don’t expect to be memorable, he will ask and check in on little details from previous visits.
