Great breakfast place. We drive from Lewes DE for the chipped beef
Get you some Cream Chipped Beef! Good stuff. The General never disappoints.

They got my cranky toddler her food fast while i figured out my order. Food was good and quick. No complaints.
Always have gone to General's Kitchen- first time in the new location- loved it as usual- great breakfast- good service as usual - loved the new location - �
I felt they were not that busy and the service could have been better. My wife a former restaurant worker felt the same. Took forever to get the check although the waiter did apologize for the wait. The black wall that surrounds the stairway was ugly and the hats that were pinned to it were covered in dust. The food was good and the price was right. Coffee tasted a little burnt.
The service was fast and our server was very attentive. The food - WOW - my husband and I both had an omelette which was delicious. We shared a side of cream chipped beef and YUM!! You just never know at restaurants, but they nailed it. Thanks!
Service is awesome, food delish and you are usually in and out!
