Gus, Richard, and the crew are awesome, very fair, and they went out of their way to make sure we were done on time. We had to leave our motorhome with them, and they did a great job! If you have an RV, and need service in Reno, make sure you give these guys a call!
Pete and his team provided fabulous service and an excellent new transmission for my son's Subaru, they went the extra mile!

I have to admit. I have never had the customer service like I had at the general. Chris was Awesome. And his crew keep there word that my car would be ready in two days. This was unbelievable. These guys really helped out and made my experience an amazing one. My clutch was going out and my Transmission was going out so I brought it my car to be checked out. After taking a few looks at it and scanning it (Which was free!) they found a few issues with ease and 3 days later I got a brand new Clutch and a rebuilt Tranny. Ever since I've owned this car it's never felt so new and never shifted so smooth. Big thanks to Chris and Peter at General Transmission for rebuilding the transmission on my 2005 VW Jetta GLI Turbo! My Jetta was having issues in second gear that would cause my car to suddenly (and dangerously) decelerate the first few minutes after starting and driving it after it. Peter was very helpful in diagnosing the problem (valve body) and explaining what was going wrong. Now my car has the responsiveness that it used to have!
