THESE PEOPLE CAME AND BROKE THE GLASS TOP OF MY 4 YEAR OLD JENN AIR THAT COST \$1,500 THEN AND WILL COST \$2,000 NOW. THEY ARE REFUSING TO REPLACE IT AND THEY DID SUCH A SHODDY JOB. I CALLED THE SERVICE ABOUT A MONTH AGO. THEY MADE FOUR SERVICES CALLS AND I PAID \$176 AND ALL I HAVE IS A WHOLE INSTEAD OF A COOK TOP. THEY HAVE NO INTEGRITY AND THEIR SERVICE IS LOUSY. Tech was suspose to be at out house between 8 and noon on a wednesday and dint call our house until 2pm to let us know they were running late and probably wouldnt be able to help us at all that day (and they didnt). Rescheduled for Friday and they kept calling my cell phone as I was at work and said they wouldnt send the tech out until they knew someone was home even though again we were given a time frame to be home and my husband had already told them on wednesday he would be home the entire day on friday. NOT IMPRESSED! Kitchenaid convection oven. Took 4 service calls to fix warranty unit. Almost 3 weeks from first call.

Very responsive and reasonably priced. My KitchenAid refrigerator failed over the 4th of July weekend. They were closed the 5th and I got thru to them first thing on the 6th. I told them I was pretty sure it was a compressor failure. They ordered the parts and brought them out on the 8th. It was the compressor and the tech had it up and running in about an hour and a half. Mark came out today on a warranty call for my over-the-range microwave. He called before he came, was very pleasant and fixed it fast because he had the forethought to order the parts before he came out here. I really appreciate it! Would call them again for non-warranty work.

BEWARE!! I had the worst service ever !! The tech gave me a diagnostic and i payed for the service call.He made 2 calls out to my home and had the wrong part.He was going to come back again but he didnt So i went out to buy the part myself and.. it was the WRONG DIAGNOSTIC and i am out \$\$ . So finally GENERAL calls saying the tech QUIT and had not turn in my CHECK!! So i cancel my check and out a \$\$ for stop payment. They didnt even offer to pay for the fee the bank charge and the part that i bought !!!

Ive had opportunity to use General Service twice for my Kitchenaide Dishwasher and today my refrigerator. I have been nothing but impressed with this company. Repair technicians Mickey and Steve are both masters of their art. Even with a full schedule they manage to come quickly, especially with a fridge full of defrosting food. You can not go wrong with this company. They try very hard to get warranty coverage on the parts. These people receive my highest recommendation and would not hesitate to call them again.
