We have stayed at many historic places and The General Palmer was on the list of my top favorites. The hotel is very clean and well cared for. Our room was very clean and very comfortable to be in. We had a view of the city and my boys loved watching the train leave the station. It’s walking distance from the train station, which is perfect if you are doing any train rides. We stayed at this hotel this last weekend was amazing, from the service to the rooms to the breakfast. 5 stars in my opinion and we stay at alot of hotels. We will definitely stay here again.
