The staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean. The atmosphere was like stepping back in time, but with all the modern convinces. The breakfast was a great variety of cereals, eggs, fresh fruit, waffles, yogurt, and breads. Coffee at breakfast as well as on different floors. Perfect location for watching and riding the Durango railroad.
Beautiful historic hotel in the middle of Durango. Close walking distance to shopping and great restaurants and all that Durango has to offer. The hotel also offers a fantastic breakfast every morning and coffee is available on all floors. You definitely have to try the elevator!

There is a balcony to enjoy from fresh air. Now to what sets this hotel apart from others. The staff were amazing! All of the staff is very nice, welcoming, and courteous. Chandler is the one who helped us the most. He was able to take some time to show us around and make us feel welcomed. If we are ever back in Durango, we will definitely stay here!

One staff member even gave me a few local tip... read more
