I'm an inexperienced finisher but the first time I put General Finishes -High Performance Waterbased Top Coat in my Fuji sprayer I received perfect results the first time. I keep using it because it's nearly food proof for me and gives me the quality and endurance I want.
I have used GF top coats for years and love them!! Water based and easy to use. When I attended the 2017 GF Expo, I learned about (and how to use) the chalk paint, stains & dyes, AND pearl effects ~ WOW!! Loved the Expo! #changedmyworld

GF paint spreads like butter on warm toast. Brush marks level out to non-existence. The water based top coats are completely transparent. The oil based top coats give antiques a rich, authentic depth. My favorite! Highly recommend.
