General Bakeshop was a nice find for picking up something fresh. I went in for a morning pastry and ended up taking home a few different baked goods. The croissant had crisp layers and a soft center, while the muffin was moist without being overly sweet. Everything looked fresh and was packed neatly at the counter. The staff was pleasant, and the shop had a simple neighborhood feel. I’d come back when I’m in the area and want a few things for breakfast.
Such a wonderful experience at General Bake Shop! The croissants are incredible, especially the banana caramel — absolutely phenomenal! 🥐 And David, the owner, was so incredibly kind!We have two little ones and it was pouring rain. David walked us all the way to our car with an umbrella. Such a thoughtful gesture that meant so much. Amazing pastries and even better people!!
my husband just brought home an assortment of things which were all great but i have to say, the PANCAKES were incredible. And these are takeout pancakes that traveled 17 minutes to our home! I repeat: 17+ minute old takeout pancakes were one of my best bites of 2026.
Fabulous place, Great food awesome friendly staff can’t beat it !
