Dr. Ruckh is the medical director at the Riverside St. Vincent's WCC & Hyperbarics. He was rude, and interrogated me in front of the nurses and the front desk staff. His bedside manner rates a Zero. He also is in private practice. His "Specialty" is in diabetic wound care & wounds located on the feet not knowledgeable about non-diabetic wounds. He tried to make me look bad so not to look bad himself; he placed blame on me. He denied me clinical care. I cannot recommend this doctor!
Dr. Ruckh is a true gem in the medical profession. From my first visit with Dr. Ruckh he has always been genuinely concerned with my health. I left that first visit pleased and excited that I found a doctor who cares. I recommended him to family, friends and neighbors. Today, several years after my first visit, he continues to engage in ensuring his patients total care and wellness is address. If you are looking for a doctor with skill, concern and a caring manner. Dr. Ruckh is the one!
I injured my foot and was in a walking boot for 5 weeks and did not have a definitive diagnosis. The previous doctor kept telling me "there's nothing wrong with your foot". Within 3 minutes of the FIRST visit with Dr. Ruckh (after he introduced himself) he knew EXACTLY what was wrong with my foot. Moteso,I did not have to explain how I injured it. I arrived prepared with xrays. He looked at the xrays and my foot and now I am on the road to recovery. Dr. Ruckh is VERY detailed as well.
I have had 3 surgeries performed by Dr Ruckh. He has an excellent bedside manner. He always squeezed me in (same day appointments) for emergency appointments after each surgery. He listened to my concerns. He explained all procedures and post care throughly and in terms in which I could understand. I have recommended him to several people and they were/ are 100% satisfied with him!
