Having owned VW'S since the late 60's Gene Berg was know world wide, so of course when I going to build my first motor you can guess where I headed for all my parts. I remember standing across the counter from Gene asking him about cams, cranks, heads and pistons and leaving there knowing that the motor I was building was going run perfect and last a long time and my little 1600 is still running perfect to this day, he always had the time to talk to anyone who would walk in with a question .
