I have always bought Gene Berg products as they are a cut above and POTL. Over the many years of going to them as the Source, I have gained friendships with all, both past and present. Many of the manufactured parts are small batch and very sought after. I have a Berg 5 trans, shifters in both Cabriolet and my Bus. All parts are innovated and often imitated. No one else provides Zotz sweets with each order. Also available under GB Zotz. Jason Clarke and I whole heartedly endorse this company.
I have been buying Air-Cooled performance components from Gene Berg since 1983 after reading and learning about Genes philosophy on engine building and seeing all the quick street cars with "Gene Berg has it all" stickers when I ventured out to the OC from my LA neighborhood. I still use Gene Bergs rockers, cranks, oil pumps and oil sumps because I have confidence they will not let me down.
