My favorite place in the world. I've been going there for over 40 years. They are the best.
Genero's may have changed their cook or decided to cut back on portions. Presentation was poor. It changed. Chili wasn't hot like I'm use too, it was flavorful. Now the sopa's, great, there bigger and fluffier. Salsa lacked the hot, spicy texture I love. I'll try it once more because I may have come on a bad day but if it has changed I won't be going back.�
Always heard rave reviews about this place, but since trying the restaurant, wasnt pleased with the quality of the food. My chicken enchiladas fell apart when i cut it and the chicken filling was the texture and shape of cubed canned chicken. The stuffed sopapilla was not stuffed properly as the plate was piled with ground beef around the sopapilla and no garnish of lettuce of lettuce or tomato.
Great, delicious food but HORRIBLE SERVICE! Server wasn’t attentive. Lacked providing silverware, forgot refills. Brought the check as soon as we received the food. After that, she never paid attention to us. A slow day as well. AWFUL!
Authentic, home -cooked food with terrific service! Huge, excellent dinner for two, less than $25
