Service was quite okay. Food was not good. Most meats were rough. Galbi and pork belly were just okay. Side dishes were miniscule and no variety. Steamed rice was so hard that you can do shot put with it. Despite the food quality, the place somehow managed to be full house. When all the vents were active, there was insufficient make-up air so the negative pressure caused the main door to behave like Thor's hammer. And once open, air rushed in like a tornado and it's quite fun if your table was very near that door.

If you ever thought about trying Gen Korean BBQ for a date night DO NOT DO IT. I have never made a google review in my life but I couldn’t help my self. My husband and I decided on Gen Korean for our 20th anniversary. Upon arrival we were barely greeted, the host acted like she hated her job. We brushed it off but it just got worse from there. Took my mom here for an early birthday dinner. We’re regulars at Gen, but this was our first time visiting this location. The food was delicious, but overall the experience fell short of what we’ve come to expect. Our waiter was friendly, but he forgot to bring back some of the sides that had been eaten, and it took three visits and reminders before everything arrived.
