I was in the area for vacation/birthday trip. I was going to make a hat for the occasion, but thankfully found Gem Studio instead. I walked in and the manager was there to answer questions and set me up with an appointment. She also held 2 stones for me since I couldn't make up my mind that day. We booked pretty last minute in the day for a silversmithing workshop. We had the absolute pleasure of having Rylee instruct us. She was so sweet, incredibly knowledgeable, and very patient. She made recommendations to take our rings to the next level. Rylee, thank you so much for staying late with us and making our night so much fun!

The people here were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the space itself is fun to work in. That said, there were two things that really bothered me. First, the pricing structure is not very transparent. It’s $75 per piece, not per person, and this includes earrings — meaning you automatically pay $75 for each one, plus any add-ons. The add-on costs pile up quickly, and with all the little hidden fees, the final bill ends up much higher than expected.
