BEWARE! I am not Computer Savvy so GEM Made Sure to Exploit Me! I brought in a high-end laptop which would not turn on. I was told some parts needed to be replaced. I was quoted $120 for the repair. My final bill was nearly $400 when I never asked for another thing nor was I notified. Bringing your computer here is like bringing your car to an untrustworthy mechanic.
Uneducated, unprofessional, ripoff business. Took work there and got charged way more than best buy would've charged. The place and owner in itself is creepy.
No need to review the service of GEM, it's impeccable just as all these other reviews claim. Here's a company who'd show more profit were it not for the amount of work they donate to organizations and those less fortunate. Instead, I'm giving them 5 stars for the manner in which he handled the lone negative review. That review comes from an individual who waited months after an incident having nothing to do with his services in which Gary stepped in to mediate.
