I had been going to San Antonio for my eye appointments, due to a condition I have called Cornea Dystrophy. My vision had deteriorated dramatically due to a cataract. Surgery on the eye is touchy when the cornea is abnormal or with the disease such as mine. Dr. Gelman, a cornea specialist, assured me I could have the cataract removed with success. Dr. Gelman did my LASIK eye surgery. I appreciated how thorough they were with conducting the eye exams. They want to ensure they don’t over correct your prescription. The staff was very friendly! There wasn’t a long wait time for any of my appointments. Dr. Gelman has great bedside manner and took the time to explain everything you should expect after surgery. I went in for a cataracts assessment due to my blurry vision and my age. As soon as I walked in I was impressed. The office is beautiful and very clean. The staff is friendly and professional. After several thorough exams with state of the art equipment. Dr. Rachel Gelman visited with me and was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything in detail. Gelman eye care was our 3rd appointment for cataract surgery consultation. They were easy to get an appointment with. The staff was friendly and courteous. Our questions were answered thoroughly.
