My dad is currently admitted for a serious life threatening condition. I am not local. I cannot get anyone on the phone to tell me what is going on. They put me on hold and forget about me, and they haven’t returned my phone calls.

My elderly family member was recently in the ED. The docs were amazing, but the nurse was rude! She only came in to give meds and didnt even explain what she was giving. Told us a test was done when it wasnt, and we had to ask multiple times for food over a span over several hours!!

This place has only gotten worst, I waited 6 hours in the ED for dehydration, stomach cramping, etc. 6 hours and not one update on blood work, not one update on when I would get my scan done. No stopped by to ask how I was feeling although I hadn’t ate or drank anything and kept it down in over 24 hrs. 6 hours sitting on a hard chair in a hallway because not one room was available. i spent 7 days at HSH last week. The care i received there was absolutely fantastic!! All the staff; medical, custodial and food service could not have been nicer. The doctors and nurses explained everything to me so i could understand. I was in room 837b. My nurses Deanna, Mark and others were very quick to respond when i called for a nurse. I wanted to give a special mention to Hannah. She always responded very quickly. Since i was there for 1 week she gave me extra special (in my opinion) care. I was on pain meds and she ... read more

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding MRI technician Jill Bucher. During my appointment on, I found her behavior rude and unprofessional, and the manner in which she spoke to me was unacceptable for a healthcare setting. As a patient, I expect to be treated with respect and compassion, especially during medical procedures, and this experience has made me unwilling to return to this hospital. I urge HR to review this incident and ensure staff receive proper training in patient communication.
