Dr David Gehret is an excellent and caring physician. He is an amazing diagnostician and a leader in the field of neurology. His initial consult was the most thorough complete history and exam I have ever received. He encouraged my wife and I to move forward with testing that after 17 years finally revealed the core reasons for my limping. He stayed late in the evening to meet with us... gave up his lunch hour to meet with us and called the surgeon on my behalf. I will highly recommend Dr Gehret
Excellent doctor and kind man. He has, for years, supported us after a strokes in 2006. He went above and beyond helping Greg get back to work and he will never know what his kindness meant to our family and friends. He is a good person
During my first appointment with Dr. Gehret on Feb 27, 2018, I immediately felt I was in good hands and would receive the best care possible. Dr. Gehret is professional, direct, thorough, and he conveys a sense urgency to get things done. He gave me hope that my condition, over time and with treatment, could be improved, contrary to what I had been told by another physician. Two Mayo Clinic doctors complimented Dr. Gehret for his astute diagnosis of my POEMS Syndrome disease.
Was referred to Dr Gehret for a second opinion evaluation and EMG/NCV. The exam and tests were thorough and well-explained. The doctor suspected a serious problem and accelerating my care by arranging an immediate MRI and next day consult. I was provided same day reports with education information.

Dr. Gehret's office staff was rude and discourteous. They do not take responsibility for errors they make.
Could not have felt more comfortable and confident . Dr Gehret is a warm and caring doctor. I would not hesitate to recommend him. I travel 2 hours from Palm Springs just to be able to see him.
He is the best thorough doctor in his field. He doesn't send the bills, the company he works for does. It is up to the patient to verify if files were sent to your doctor. Don't be lazy and check yourself. Please review the doctors knowledge and competence, only. The staff is wonderful, also. He has helped myself and my husband.
I first saw Dr. Gehret as a second opinion and have seen him for several years. He is very thorough and worked with my Dr. At UCLA to diagnose my problem without over medicating me and making many practical suggestions. Unfortunately, my new insurance does not have him on their plan so I'm in search of a new neurologist. Mary Clarke
