I bought a $3k MacBook Pro that fried on me and stopped turning on. Even though I was sold a defective device, they wanted to charge me $100 to retrieve my data. I refused, seeing as that’s absurd, the defective laptop was on them not me. Instead, to keep me quiet they told me I was free to try, and placed me in a cubby with my dead laptop and the replacement they handed me.
