I bought my new hiking boots for my birthday from Gear 30 and the store manager included this lovely note with them. I had tried them on previously and the employee (who had a broken arm at the time) was so friendly and answered any question I had. He gave suggestions to fit what I described I wanted the boots for. A great store and a great staff!! Recommended to many friends already.

I purchased a pair of Chacos online on a great clearance price. As it turns out it the discount was an accident on their end. They could have canceled the transaction, but instead they stuck to the price and shipped it out immediately. I only found out because they included a letter that explained their mistake and they laughed it off. Gear 30 seems to be run by great people who do their business with integrity. I’ll be checking their store from now on anytime I need new outdoor gear.
These guys are so helpful! You can come in knowing exactly what you want, or you can come in with tons of questions. They are super fun and knowledgeable! It always feels extra great to shop local, too!
