This company makes sophisticated machinery for, among other applications, brewing beer. The problem is that once you invest in their expensive machinery, GEA takes advantage of your reliance on them for spare parts and maintenance. The prices they charge for gaskets, small hoses, etc. are outrageous. We are considering selling our centrifuge because we simply can't afford to pay $500 every time we need a spare plastic gasket, or $800 for a 1-foot section of hose.
