GBU sent me the wrong amount of money from an investment 4 weeks after requesting it. It was double the correct amount. Being the end of the year it needed to get corrected ASAP. They finally pulled the amount from my bank but didn’t send me the correct amount. Still waiting on 12/29/25 for the deposit. This is totally ridiculous seeing I had asked for the money the beginning of December.
I enjoyed being a participant in gbu life products for many years and have always been grateful and thankful for their investment opportunities. Their commitment to various causes and values has always been a positive one for me.
I've had life insurance here (HRFA) for 20 years. Never had an issue. I like all the extras like estate planning help, Entertainment discounts and the Reporter magazine. I enjoy the trivia contests.
Initially, I was very charmed with this company. They were warm and supportive after my mother passed away. At first, it seemed like it would be easy to close this portion of the estate. My Mom was very organized and planned every aspect of her transition years in advance. She left precise and clear instructions with any and everyone related to her finances.
