I’d give zero stars if I was able. My mother had life insurance and an annuity with GBU. She passed in 2023 and I am still attempting to get all of that processed. Every time I complete their “claim kit” it takes months for them to look at and suddenly there’s another form I have to fill out or something else I know have to provide. I have sent them the same death certificate multiple times. There is always another hoop to jump through, always another form, letter, something that needs to notarized. GBU sent me the wrong amount of money from an investment 4 weeks after requesting it. It was double the correct amount. Being the end of the year it needed to get corrected ASAP. They finally pulled the amount from my bank but didn’t send me the correct amount. Still waiting on 12/29/25 for the deposit. This is totally ridiculous seeing I had asked for the money the beginning of December.

I enjoyed being a participant in gbu life products for many years and have always been grateful and thankful for their investment opportunities. Their commitment to various causes and values has always been a positive one for me.

I've had life insurance here (HRFA) for 20 years. Never had an issue. I like all the extras like estate planning help, Entertainment discounts and the Reporter magazine. I enjoy the trivia contests.
