Ugh! What a rip-off – After reading the mixed reviews we decided to give this restaurant a try. Big mistake. We ordered our meal, specifically requesting the entrees extra hot. We also ordered 2 beers. The beers didn't come with the appetizer, and when the main course came, we again requested them. Perhaps they'd forgotten? I love Gaylord's! – I came here for the first time when I was 13 and thought it was magical. There were a number of kids there obviously going to prom, the view was great, and the service and food were excellent. I've been back 3-4 times since, and have always been treated with the utmost respect. the last time I was there was on my birthday. We were seated near a table with kids having a melt-down. give it a go! – I gotta disagree with the negative postings... the food is awesome. Anyone who appreciates indian food would love coming here. The cocktails were inexpensive and the mango martini went particularly well with the food. Gotta say tho, bland indian food is kind of an oxymoron... And this place doesn't serve anything that doesn't excite the mouth.
Not so good... – My fiance and I love Indian Food & we like to try new places all the time. The staff here is sooooo friendly and nice BUT the food is sooooo bland and tasteless. We are veggies so it could just be the vegetarian dishes. The papadum wasn't very good either and the Mango Lassi was just "eh". yes please! – My first time dining here was a wonderful experience. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and helpful. I had chicken, vegetables, rice, naan, and the Taj Mahal beer. All the dishes were delicious and rich. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes Indian food and I would definitely come here again.
Enjoyable eating – I rarely leave a review for a resturant. However, after my dinner at Gaylord's resturant I have got to leave some kind of review. My wife and I visited there and from the very beginning we felt treated with high honor. We are young and don't look like we have very much money. not bad – Good food, friendly staff, great Himalayan Blue beer, and inexpensive.
not good! – lunch buffet is not worth the price! more expensive than any other indian buffet in the city, the buffet has limited selection, and the food has no flavor.
Lunch Buffet is good – It's not the best indian food I've had but, the price & service are very good.
