Ignorant and overcharges for everything!! Told me I needed to have two root canals. Went to another dentist and all they said I needed was a cleaning. Dishonest and not professional.

Not trustworthy and horrible personality. Will find problems that don't exist. STAY AWAY!
Horrible attitude! This woman is extremely rude and very rough in your mouth. I went in for a basic cleaning and she literally had me crying in pain. She then tells me I need $4,750.00 worth of dental work! I went to another Dentist and all he said I needed was a cleaning. She is unprofessional and money hungry looking for problems that don't exist. RUN from this place!
I feel Dr. Smith is not forthcoming and honest in her reviews and assessments as other professionals in the field simply do not come close to agreeing with her prognosis.
I love this office. I had a bad experience with another dentist and decided to "shop around" for a more personable office. I called and asked several questions and all my expectations were met when I went for my first visit. Dr. Smith was up front and honest and expressed that she wasnt comfortable extracting the tooth that was bothering me because it was so far down in my jaw. She referred me to an oral surgery but still gave me a prescription for pain meds and an antibiotic. I went back and got a cleaning and full exam and... read more
Dr Smith told me I needed to go to another dentist after my cancer treatments for throat cancer. She never recommended anyone to me but seemed I was not the patient she was looking for. I recieved a call from Gibsonville family dentistry asking about setting up an appointment for cleaning etc. at that time I ask if they could make and impression to make me a new lower partial I was put on hold. I love Ms.Galia Smith!!! I know that most people go to see a dentist to continue mouth health. Its not something anyone looks forward to either. It is usually a cold and uncomfortable environment and experience for most. I myself do not like to visit the Dentist. I find myself white-knuckling the chairs in fear. I decided to change my Dentist recently due to convenience to my location. I moved to Gibsonville recently and chose to go to Dr.Smith, who is right down the road from my house. WOW!
