I had a colonoscopy and unfortunately had a large malignant tumor. I felt very comfortable when Dr. Young told me and had a plan for the next steps.
Doctor Young is one of the most personable, caring and knowledgeable gastroenterologists I have ever used. His office staff was very friendly.
My daughter was referred to him as she was having severe GI issues. He performed an EGD and saw a major artery compressing her duodenum and never told me he suspected Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome (an extremely rare, fatal medical condition). Fortunately, I always get copies of my reports and saw that it was on the radar. When I called to get more information I was blown off for 3 months. He finally phoned back after firing him. It was verified through John Hopkins that she did have SMAS.
