I can't recommend Dr. Gaudiani and her staff enough! From the moment I walked in, I've felt safe, respected, and cared for. Every staff memberI've spoken to is kind and genuinely engaged and the space itself is peaceful and comfortable. Dr. G. and Nurse Abby listen deeply, validate my experiences, and explain each step of care in a way that feels collaborative and empowering. I lost my daughter to anorexia nervosa Oct of 2024. I couldn’t agree more than what the other reviews say that as soon as Guadiani heard a patient say they were so critical they could not figure out how to get through this disease, as my daughter tried 5 hospitals only to be tubed and then thrown out…she also had much hope that Dr. Guadiani would be able to support her medical complications from this deadly disease and was also led on to believe she would be taken, only to be tossed that she also wasn’t a good fit. I was excited about the opportunity to work with someone seemingly so compassionate. Checked the website. It's a concierge model practice--all out of pocket. "Dr. G" may be a visionary, but only for the privileged. It cracked me up to hear her talk about how eating disorders don't discriminate, but she does. LOL.
I have always fawned over and been in awe of the research, dedication and compassion displayed by the Gaudiani Clinic for a population significantly misunderstood and underrepresented. I have and continue to struggle with a severe ED and there's not a day that goes by that I don't wish this fight could and would get easier.
