I have lived here for almost 2 years and I love my apartment! Other than an obviously great location (5 minute walk to Publix & to campus), the apartment is well-kept and comfortable. It's not noisy even though it is close to a lot of activity. The neighbors I've met are really nice, too. I would say what makes a big difference from other places I've lived in Gainesville are Derek and Kris as the property managers. They are the best! I loved this building! After a year and a half in the building and five in Gainesville, I am finally graduating from UF with two degrees. I keep saying to myself, “if I could find this building where I’m moving, I’d move in in a heartbeat.” The units are very spacious with your car parked right in front of your door, it doesn’t get more convenient at a better price than this!

Location, Location, Location! Walk to class, Publix and Target. Very well managed and cared for, these apartments are one bedroom, but quite roomy with plenty of counter space in the kitchen. Washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience. They are clean and well designed. When I lived here it was like a little community, close knit and personable. I loved it. The best kept secret in town! If you're able to get an apartment at Gator Palms, consider yourself very lucky, indeed.

Great apartments! Well insulated from all the activity in our neighbors apartments and outside - we rarely ever hear anything despite being near the university/13th intersection. Walkability is also fantastic. Publix, Target, UF, and a whole bunch of restaurants are easily within 2 blocks of the complex. It comes with it's own parking space as well, which is ideal for a busy student. I wish I knew about this place sooner as a student at UF. The location is perfect. It is across the university and two minute walk to Target, Publix, Starbucks, Chic Fila, Mod Pizza, Chase Bank, Bento (upcoming), Chipotle, Taco Bell, Dunkin Donuts, Midtown pubs/ bars and many more. I have saved so much time and money on gas just because of the location. The landlord Kris is kind, friendly and accommodating.
