IMT was our WORST experience. We were charged more than $5,000 as move out charges after staying there for four years. An abusive use of power and position to charge the tenants for the move out charges. There was nothing wrong apart from the normal wear and tear. None of the charges were pro rated - paint, carpet, counters, bathtub and kitchen reglazing. We filed a claim against IMT in the small claims court and we won. IMT had to refund the amount. Moving into IMT Pleasanton was honestly one of the best move-in experiences I’ve ever had. Jacqueline was amazing—super cheerful, friendly, and made me feel right at home from the start. When I walked into the apartment, there was even a little welcome gift waiting on the kitchen table with some snacks, toilet paper, and a towel. It was such a nice surprise and really thoughtful. The latest group of managers and maintenance staff, so far, appear to be more competent and professional than the previous group. They listen to tenant concerns and respond in a timely manner. Basic landscaping and pest control are taken care of regularly. However, the trash dumpsters areas are beginning to be a problem again.(overflowing and unsightly!) Hopefully, this unsightly and health concern will be taken care of soon since the July 4th celebrations have ended. Overall rating: C+.
It was a great tour experience, Jackie helped us take a virtual tour, she was very accommodating and patient and answered all our queries.
