At first we were very impressed with the business as the salesman seemed to be really knowledgeable about decks and the company with many personal reviews but that was all just part of the Pitch. We should have known when their original quote (which was supposedly marked way down) came in at a sky rocket high price. Very disappointed. Hired Gateway to replace my siding. Poor workmanship and dishonesty along the way. It has been a year since the job was performed and I am still getting the run around and excuses as to why it cannot be finished. Do not recommend. Very unsatisfied.

I have received so many compliments from my neighbors about the siding job. It did take a little while to feel confident - but in the end, I was very happy. The crew that installed were here for one day - and were terrific about clean up. The project was done exactly on time. It is a little hard at first to get in touch with the office. But as the project got closer to being done, they were in touch regularly.

So far so bad. Their "office" is vacant. Per the paperwork to get my deposit back I had to send a certified letter to the "office" within 3 days of contract. I did it within 2. I sent the certified letter to get my deposit back on the 9th and just now got the confirmation that it was received on the 26th. I am waiting. I should have known when the sales rep offered me a $4000.00 discount if I wrote them a check that evening.
